Summary

This survey captures 95 musicians and artists — mostly from underground electronic music scenes. The community is privacy-conscious (Signal leading messengers), values direct-to-fan platforms (Bandcamp, SoundCloud) over mainstream streaming, and has a strong physical media culture with over half actively releasing or planning vinyl, CDs, or tapes.

Copyright registration is largely rejected — over half explicitly identify as "Pure Underground." Distribution platforms are used by only a third; most artists prefer handling releases themselves.

Regarding c8core: there is strong interest in the platform concept, with ~90% showing some openness to involvement and 66% ready to receive updates via messenger. The most enthusiastic 20% are a core who actively want to participate.
